STIKK met with parliamentary committee
STIKK met with parliamentary committee to discuss the law on monitoring of imports. Besides law we also discussed the ICT market in general as well as barriers that have companies that operate in this sector. Present in this committee were Mrs. Teuta Sahatciu, Mr. Shaip Muja, Lutfi Zharku and representatives from NGOs. STIKK informed the MP’s about how the ICT market is stable and growing market and how the value of this sector will go up to EUR 160m in 2016based on IDCAdriatics.
STIKK informed members of parliament about initiatives in the region that their governments have taken to increased imports of ICT equipment, like exempting from taxes and how this has affected our market.
MP’s was also briefed on the activities of the association and the association’s strategic plans.
STIKK invite MPs to help the sector to by voting laws that ease of doing business in this sector.
